Markup
Here you get an overview of the supported formatting rules in mobiki. If you want to see how it is done, just Edit this page.
Sections
Well, this is one. There is nothing more to say. Just start a single line with an exclamation mark:
!This is a section header
Font faces
You can mark text as
'''bold''', ''italics'' and '''''both'''''
Lists - normal and numbered
You will get a list, if you start a new line with a dash or star for a normal list ...
- First - Second - Third * Forth * 5th
... or any single number followed by a dot, like "0." for example.
0. First 0. Second 0. Third
Code and preformatted Text
Code and other raw text can be integrated like this: Before and after the text simply write a line with only three or more consecutive underscores, like this: ___. No other characters on these enclosing lines!
___ <table> <tr> <td> ... </td> </tr> </table>} ___
Internal links sometimes called wiki page names
Links to other wiki pages are done using square brackets.
[Link to a mobiki page]
Link to a mobiki page
You always start with a link pointing to the void. If a page does not exist, it can be created the first time you click on the link. You have to be logged in for that. If you want to link to a mobiki page, but want an alternative link desciption to be show, do it this way:
[Your text|Link to a mobiki page] is a link to a page
Your text is a link to a page
Links to other external websites
External links and eMail-addresses are recognized automagically and you can also hide a link behind a specified own text using square bracket, your text, pipe, the URL and a closing square bracket. They are opened in a new browser tab:
http://mobiki.datenbrei.de martin@datenbrei.de [Your text|http://mobiki.datenbrei.de]
Hashtags
Hashtags are a great thing. Clicking on one you will see a list of all pages containing the same hashtag. For better readabilty the # itself is not shown by default:
Well, #Snowden did tell us all, but for Angela Merkel this is all #Neuland
Well, Snowden did tell us all, but for Angela Merkel this is all Neuland
Horizontal lines
Well, I don't know, if they are really useful, but here they are, use three dashes to get a horizontal line:
---
